Probe Shanks

Shanks, are probe tools used to mount the probe head to the quill of your existing fixed or manual CMM. Accuracy of fit depends on matching the correct shank to the dimensions of your fixed or manual CMM. If you are having trouble finding the right shank, please contact us. The correct shank needs to be chosen to fit the mounting facility or your CMM – measure tools give you direct fit for CMM accuracy. Shanks are included in the price of your Renishaw heads and probes, but must be specified when placing an order.
