WIZprobe is an advanced non-contact optical laser scanning sensor for fast, accurate and highly reliable geometric measurements. It can be easily integrated onto any CMM system, portable CMM, and is also available as a stand-alone product with customized software packages for in-line process control. WIZprobe measurement accuracy is guaranteed over a very wide range of material types, colors, surface finish and laser beam angles. The WIZprobe is small in size, has a standard PH-10 interface (AUTOJOINT connection) and can replace conventional mechanical touch probes.

For manual touch probe/probe head applications, there are several solutions available. Static, adjustable, and index able manual probe heads are available.

Most DCC/CNC Probe Head applications require a Motorized Probe Head. Renishaw has three currently available, the PH10T, PH10M motorized probe head, and the new PHS1 scanning head. These motorized probe heads can support all of the current Renishaw Probing and Sensor Technologies.

Touch Probes
Renishaw has a range of Touch Probes available for different measuring applications, complete with stylus changing capabilities. Omni-Tech can integrate Touch Probe Styli changing into your current CMM system.

Metris Laser Scanner
Omni-Tech also offers the Metris Laser Scanning System. Mounted on a Renishaw PH10M Motorized Probe Head for articulation, full data images of complex surfaces can be collected for CAD to part inspection routines, and reverse engineering capturing over 12 000 points per second.

The CMM SENSOR integration kit includes Metris Scan software for scanning operations and point cloud data processing. An intuitive user interface guides you through the most difficult measuring tasks and allows automated path generation using a teaching mode.

The OTC5000M CMM controller combined with the Metris CMM Sensor package can upgrade an existing CMM to compete with any new scanning machines available on the market today. Software is included in the package - Metris Base, Surface and CAD Compare software, a complete solution for your quality control and reverse engineering requirements.
