The JUPITER INSPECTION ROBOT offers a high performance shop-hardened CMM for use in direct production pace manufacturing and specifically developed for the inspection of automotive body-in-white and sub assemblies.
Jupiter is a Runway configuration, available in single or dual arm configuration, and is fully encapsulated to provide thermal isolation from environmental changes and includes protection from shop-floor contamination. Jupiter is characterized by high dynamics and high accuracy. The Jupiter CMM can be installed flush with the factory floor with walkable way covers as standard.
Jupiter is unique in offering air bearings to both Y and Z axis providing a high performance high accuracy measuring solution. Each horizontal arm measuring volume overlaps by 100mm to allow for full cross-body measurements.
