Available in bridge widths from 400mm to 2000mm and offering the most comprehensive range of CMM models sizes in the market to accommodate your specific measurement requirements. Bridge CMMs can be equipped with Renishaw touch/scanning probes and Perceptron laser scanning sensors suitable for all measuring applications.

BENCHMARK – SMALL BUDGET CMM

Benchmark – The Small Budget CMMThe COORD3 BENCHMARK small measuring volume bridge CMM is available in manual & DCC versions and offers a high performance budget CMM with a small machine footprint due to its half-gantry design. The BENCHMARK CMM can be equipped with the latest Renishaw 5 axis, infinite positioning, PH20 measuring system. The manual BENCHMARK can also be upgraded to full DCC at a later date in the field allowing for a phased investment in the latest CMM technology. BENCHMARK is the ideal small shop CMM.

ARES – The Value CMM

ARES – THE VALUE CMMThe COORD3 ARES series of small and medium measuring volume bridge manual & DCC air bearing CMMs offer high performance measuring platforms for general purpose metrology applications. The high accuracy NT version features a Silicon carbide Z axis column increasing the overall stiffness of the measuring platform and providing an outstanding CMM system for high accuracy metrology applications utilizing the full range of Renishaw scanning technologies. Available in CMM bridge widths of 500mm, 700mm and 850mm the ARES is the ideal job shop CMM.

KRONOS – LARGE MEASURING VOLUME CMM

kronosThe COORD3 KRONOS series of large measuring volume air bearing bridge CMMs offer advanced performance measuring platforms with integral dovetail X axis machined directly into the granite or steel plate providing the ultimate in stable metrology performance. KRONOS CMMs, available in bridge widths of 1500 & 2000mm and up to 10000mm in length are ideal for the inspection of large parts including high accuracy aerostructure components where the use of a Gantry CMM is not practicable due to its foundation requirements.

As aircraft designs get larger then so do the market demands for large high accuracy coordinate measuring machines. While Laser Tracker’s and Portable Arm CMMs play a crucial role in lower accuracy dimensional metrology requirements the traditional vertical CMM cannot be outperformed for its high accuracy and automated inspection capabilities.
